A bit out of season, but... it's spring somewhere in the world, right? :-) Last time I promised you more additions to the «Pocket» series, and here they are! Meet the tiny bee and frog with their cozy homes: a beehive and a strawberry! I started sewing them last summer, but only now have I finally brought them to perfection.

Немного не по сезону, но... где-то ведь сейчас весна, правда? :-) В прошлый раз я говорила, что у «карманной» серии будет продолжение, вот и оно! Пчёлка и лягушонок с «домиками»: ульем и клубничкой. Начала их шить ещё летом, но довела до ума только сейчас.
The bee's body is pieced from yellow and gray fabric strips.
Туловище пчёлки сшито из полосок жёлтого и серого цвета.
And she wears a striped, fully lined sundress with a drawstring neckline — made from the very same fabrics to maintain her signature striped look even when dressed!
И она носит полосатый сарафан с завязками, сшитый из тех же тканей, чтобы не терять «пчелиный» вид даже тогда, когда она одета!
The little frog wears a fully lined sundress with a drawstring neckline.
Лягушонок одет в сарафан с завязками.
Just like the previous ones, these little critters are 9 cm (3-1/2") tall — small enough to fit in a pocket, and of course, in any purse!
Размер зверюшек, как и в прошлый раз — 9 см — поместятся и в кармашек, и тем более, в сумочку.
The homes are fully interchangeable – they all fit every Pocket pal! Both the strawberry and the beehive are scrap-friendly, pieced from small fabric bits and quilted, so they hold their shape perfectly.
Домики, взаимозаменяемые, все подходят всем. И клубничка, и улей сшиты из лоскутков и простёганы, поэтому отлично держат форму.
The darts at the bottom give them just the right amount of depth to comfortably fit the tiny toys inside.
Вытачки в нижней части «домиков» придают им объём для свободного размещения игрушкек.
